About our institution

RAC operates two accredited post-secondary private colleges and a world renowned music production organization. With campuses in downtown Montreal and Toronto and additional studios in the Laurentians and British Columbia, RAC has recorded Grammy winning albums and dozens of internationally successful artists, and launched the careers of passionate students from around the world for 33 years. Music Producers & Engineers

RAC Toronto grad Inaam Haq is one of our many award-winning graduates who've stamped their name on some true masterpieces. With a Grammy Award for his work on Uptown Funk, Inaam continues to make us proud as a studio engineer at renowned Cherry Beach Sound.

Sound Designers

RAC Montreal grad Paul Col is sound designer with Oscar-winning credits. His portfolio as a sound designer and editor, specializing in vocal editing, includes Dallas Buyers Club, Demolition, Louis Cyr, and 1987.

Audio & MoCap for Games

RAC Montreal grad Samuel Girardin, founder and CEO of GameOn Audio, has an impressive portfolio. His company is the preferred choice for motion capture, localization, and audio for video games, 3D, and immersive media.

Studio Entrepreneurs

RAC Montreal grad Brandon Hecht is an aspiring rapper who chose to support his passion by building his own studio, MakeWay Studios. With collaborations including Pusha T and Fabolous, Machine Gun Kelly, Riff Raff, and Cam’ron, and one of the most in-demand studios in the city of Montreal under his management, Brandon's career is exploding on both sides of the console.

Beat Makers

RAC Toronto grad Koal Harrison is one of many grads who have gone on to become professional beat makers and electronic music producers. Koal, aka The Kount, is one of the city's most prominent emerging beat makers on the market.


RAC Montreal grad Ryan Walker has been working hard on his craft as a pop-soul and R&B vocalist. Ryan, aka Treh Lamonte, has garnered millions of Spotify streams for this single alone.


RAC Montreal grad Roxanne Potvin is a Juno-nominated blues singer who, over the years, has developed into a well-established act within the Canadian music scene.

RAC's facilities have been used by internationally acclaimed artists including Shania Twain, Michael Bolton, Sarah MacLachlan and Le Cirque du Soleil. Our studios feature the best digital and analogue technologies available. Our "Dolby® certified Surround Mixing" Theatres and Foley Studio have hosted acclaimed film clients such as The Matrix Reloaded (Warner Bros IMAX), Skulls III (Universal Pictures), and Space Station (IMAX).
