The Little Things (feat. Angela McCluskey)
by Big Gigantic

New banger from Big Gigantic out this morning. "The Little Things", features a standout appearance from Angela McCluskey, a not-so-well-known singer out of New York reminiscent of Amy Winehouse (albeit, a comparison that's been used so much lately it's almost not worth making). The track starts off strong with piano, organ, and horn stabs, and develops into a real electronica banger by the second drop. Enjoy.

Kill Our Way To Heaven (Pele Remix)
by Michl

One band that's received a fair amount of coverage here is Australia's five-piece Tora, and one of their members Jo Loewenthal put out a killer remix yesterday of Michl's very popular "Kill Our Way To Heaven". All of Loewenthal's solo works are chillwave tangents that have their own unique touches we don't always hear with Tora, but the two are definitely cut from the same cloth. So, if you're a fan of Tora, Pele (Loewenthal) is one artist you need to follow.

Tea For Two (Matthew Rogers Remix)
by The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer

This is a track off Vancouver's Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer's latest album A Real Fine Mess, remixed by Matthew "The Axe Murderer" Rogers (the guitarist in duo). They're making their way to Montreal on January 30th, where they'll be performing at L'Astral on Ste-Catherine. If you can manage to take that night off Igloofest, I highly recommend going to see these guys. For about $25 right now you can get your tickets here.

Cloud 9
by Valesco

Brand new release from 18-year-old Valesco, out of Austria, one young talent whom we've previously featured. "Cloud 9" is a light song with a melody that has a tiny bit of Joe Zawinul flair to it (another product of Austria). Musically, Valesco, like Zawinul, is technically together, but clearly has a sense of humour. A pretty rare combination. Stay tuned for more to come, and check out his Collective profile to learn more about Valesco.

Alone (FKJ Remix)
by Selah Sue

One producer who needs no introduction around here is the incredibly talented funk humdinger FKJ. It's a rarity to see the Parisian-based multi-instrumentalist drop a song that isn't a complete banger, and his rework of Selah Sue's "Alone" released yesterday is just killer. Check it out.
