RAC GRADS MAKING NOISE !

Read how RAC grads are getting the jobs and launching their careers. The reasons ? It's simple..... the commitment and dedication of creative people combined with RAC's elite level training programs in Sound and Music Recording, Digital Media and Game Design.

"I view my time at RAC as the best investment I've made in my life. As I started looking for a job I quickly realized the excellent reputation of RAC gave me instant credibility with potential employers, and that was a big reason I got the job at CBC/Radio-Canada. Once I started working, I was able to demonstrate the technical competencies I acquired at RAC, which has helped me secure my employment. I wouldn't be where I am today without RAC. "

RAC Grad: Emilie Bilodeau
Recording Engineer, CBC/Radio Canada International

"RAC really prepared me to meet the challenges of the recording industry. "

"'I'm currently spending most of my time working at Avatar, a post-production studio located in St. Louis.  Some of the projects I've had the pleasure to work on include: Universal's, The Fast & The Furious 3, ADR and musical composition for jingles and Public Service Announcements. THANK YOU. "

RAC Grad: Ryan Lange
Audio Engineer, Avatar Studios, St. Louis

"The only way you really learn anything in this business is by doing it yourself, hands-on - RAC gave me that opportunity."

"The program is intense, allowing those who are ready to get into the industry in a short time. Small classes help ensure that you get "flying time" on the equipment. The teaching staff had considerable experience working in the industry, which was helpful. The facilities gave us a chance to work with great equipment, an opportunity many of us will not have in the working world. "

RAC Grad: Julian (Jules) Daboll
Audio Supervisor, Technicolour, Toronto

When I was finishing RAC I went to Cherry Beach Sound for a one month internship. I continued to return to the studio every day full time, even after the internship was over, and dealt with many different types of projects.  Eventually I was hired because I kept showing up anyways and I became the studio assistant.  I ended up replacing the engineer when he moved on. I am now the Senior Staff Engineer at Cherry Beach Sound. I enjoyed RAC because it showed me that if you put something in, you can get something valuable in return.  The reinforcement of the value of humility, service, and hard work helped allow me to get the job at Cherry Beach Sound and helps keep me sane to this day.

RAC Grad: Inaam Haq
Senior Staff Engineer, Cherry Beach Sound, Toronto

I had a Pro Tools (audio software) rig for 3 years prior to going to RAC.  After graduating RAC granted me an internship for having outstanding grades at a telephone company called Amp'd Mobile. Amp'd Mobile focused on giving their customers exclusive media content such as live concerts and music videos broadcasted straight to their phones. I found myself in a world class recording facility recording some of the hottest musical acts from Canada and abroad, giving me complete control over the audio mix.   Other musical projects I have worked on include recording local talent as well as recording song writing sessions for Canadian Idol hopefuls. I currently work as an audio technician for Westbury National Show Systems Ltd. I have the opportunity to work at live events and concerts. I'm involved with setting up the equipment and mixing the audio during the show. I deal with clients and plan the audio configurations for the shows. The most influential experience I had at RAC was the connections and friendships I made. The faculty were very helpful and inspiring. I looked up to the teaching staff because they all have had work experience in the industry I dreamed to be a part of.
