RAC Free Recording Seminar: 2 pm Thursday July 24, 2014 at RAC Toronto

Beat making, Sound Design, Studio Design, Film Scoring, and more. On Thursday, July 24th at 2 p.m. you can sit in on an inspiring set of music production demonstrations to gain a clearer understanding of the sound & music recording industry. You'll also get to see some of RAC's experienced faculty in action while they demo live off the floor recording, digital audio editing and sound & music post production for motion picture.

July 9th RAC Montreal Concert Showcase Review

A beautiful July night in Montreal can't be beat, especially when you get a chance to hear four outstanding indie music acts for free at RAC Montreal's Concert Series. Recording Arts Canada would like to congratulate Static Gold, Farewell Davidson and Chair Warriors for great performances, and is pleased to announce that The Vare  took home the top prize for the best performance of the night, as deemed by a panel of industry professionals in attendance.

RAC grad Luke Leveille has worked with artists Drake, Wiley, Ghostface Killah, P. Reign, The Weeknd, Gentlemen Husbands, Majid Jordan, and producers Noah “40” Shebib, Boy1da, Carlos Illangelo, Damon Sharpe, Pro Logic and Gavin Brown, to name a few. Luke discusses the path that led him to working with some world renowned artists and producers.

RAC's Concert Showcase October 27th, 2014, @ La Sala Rossa, Montreal.

Recording Arts Canada's 7th Concert Showcase is just one of many exciting events hosted by RAC, featuring some very talented music artists. The event provides exposure to accomplished industry professionals and representatives for both the bands/artists and RAC students. The aim is to help everyone involved build bridges to the industry and assist in the advancement of their careers.

RAC's 5th Concert Showcase Winner Announced

On April 23, a beautiful and balmy Montreal night, four very talented indie bands took the stage and delivered a hugely entertaining show in front of another packed house at Sala Rossa.  The four bands that performed, BEN CARDILLI BAND, SYZZORS, FM HI LOW and TRACER FLARE all put on a great show.

February 18 RAC Montreal Concert Showcase Performers Announced

Recording Arts Canada is pleased to announce Be Astronaut, King Karoshi, Brittany Kwasnik and Tofu Stravinsky will be performing at RAC's 4th Concert Showcase, at Sala Rossa on Tuesday, February 18th @ 7pm. Montreal is such a hotbed for alternative and indie music, and Recording Arts is proud to provide a stage for such talented young bands.
